Welcome to our website. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. This Privacy Policy and the terms of use of www.rilling.pl will describe how we collect, use, process and store your personal information.

  1. The Privacy Policy specifies how Users’ personal data necessary for the provision of electronic services through the www.rilling.pl website (hereinafter: the Service) are collected, processed and stored.
  2. The Service, through forms as well as links and functionalities, collects personal data necessary for the provision and development of the services offered via the website.
  3. Your personal data are processed only to the extent necessary. We process your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter GDPR).

Your personal data are processed for contact purposes, including delivery of information on product range and other matters, such as sending newsletters. The above is the fulfilment of legitimate interest, i.e. in accordance with Art 6(1) of Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, the General Data Protection Regulation, (hereinafter: RODO), Personal data may also be processed when it is necessary to conclude or execute a contract, conduct a recruitment process, as well as when it is necessary to fulfill legal obligations incumbent on the Company or an entity of its group – based on GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (c).

In the case of the processing of your personal data as a result of your use of the Service (including IP address or information collected through cookies), the Company processes personal data for analytical and statistical purposes – the basis for processing is GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) (the Controller’s legitimate interest in analysing the activity of Service users, including preference research to improve the functionality of the Service).

The Company may also process your personal data for the purpose of establishing, asserting or defending potential claims between you and the Company, as per GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).

The Company may also disclose your personal data to providers of services to the Company, such as IT (including hosting, analytics), HR, agency, administrative services.

To the extent permitted by the law, you have the right to: access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, transfer, object, withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data.

Personal data may be used for:

  • delivery of the contract for services and e-services,
  • communication with the User (contact form, etc.)
  • newsletter submission (upon User’s consent to receive it),
  • ensuring the security and integrity of the Service
  • provision of community services,
  • promotion of the Controller’s offer,
  • marketing, remarketing,
  • analytical and statistical activities,
  • recruitment process, to establish and assert or defend against claims.
  • customising the content of the service to the needs and interests of the User, using cookies that maintain the User’s preferences regarding the content on the Service; enebaling the User to contact the Controller on relevant topic via a contact form, provided e-mail address and telephone number.
  1. Provision of data is voluntary, but necessary to enter into a contract or to use certain functionalities of the Service.

The Controller may process the following User’s personal data:

  • first and last name,
  • address of residence,
  • e-mail address,
  • telephone number,
  • User’s IP address

Users’ personal data will be processed:

  • when the basis of data processing is the delivery of a contract – until the statute of limitations of claims after its delivery,
  • when the basis for data processing is consent – until revocation, and after revocation of consent until the statute of limitations of claims,
  • when data are processed under other basis – for the period necessary to fulfil the Company’s legitimate interests or until you successfully object to further processing.

Your personal data will be kept for the duration of the recruitment process to relevant position and for the period of the statute of limitations of claims associated with the recruitment process, and in the case of consent to process personal data for future recruitment, for a period of 1 year and for the period of the statute of limitations of claims associated with future recruitment process.

Krosno-Metal Sp. z o.o. also processes User’s personal data during visits on Facebook, Linkedin, X, Pinterest, TikTok and Instagram profiles, of which Krosno-Metal is a co-controller (concerning visits on Krosno-Metal profiles on the aforementioned platforms). These data are processed exclusively in connection with maintaining the profiles and promotion of proprietary content. The legal basis for the Controller’s processing of personal data for this purpose is its legitimate interest indicated in GDPR Art. 6(1)(f), concerning the promotion of Controller’s own brand.

The Company provides the following electronic services to the User:

  1. Sharing the Service and its subpages and placing them on the Internet so that any interested User can access their content;
  2. Enabling the User to sign up for newsletters, webinars, online and offline conferences, events,
  3. Enabling the User to submit their resume through the Service, in order to participate in recruitment processes.

In order to properly use the Service and the services offered, it is necessary to meet the following technical conditions:

  • access to the Internet (for the services indicated in a-c above);
  • web browser that enables the use of newsletter or event sign-up forms or the submission of CV (for the services indicated in b and c above);
  • active e-mail account (for the services indicated in b and c above).

The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted and error-free access to the Service. In particular, access to the Service may be restricted when it is necessary to the repair, maintain or upgrade it.

In irregularities in the provision of electronic services, the user may file a complaint by sending an e-mail to info@krosno-metal.pl. The complaint should include: name and surname of the User and a description of the circumstances giving rise to the complaint. Complaints will be processed within 14 days of the date of submission to the Company. The User will be notified of their resolution by e-mail.

The User is forbidden to post unlawful content, in particular:

  2. Matters not regulated in this Privacy Policy are subject to relevant GDPR provisions and the provisions of Polish law.
